Rico's roots go all the way back to 1971, when it was a manufacturer of camping cars. In the early 2000s, the camping part was phased out and interiors for commercial vehicles became the preferred production.

Nils Olaf Osnes, together with his father Bernhard Osnes, manufactures camping cars. In Rico's history, more than 4,000 camping cars have been delivered in Scandinavia.2000Camping carsare being phased out
